In order to make things more pleasant in 2025. The following changes are being implemented after much consideration the decision to pay more money out to you the fishermen at the ramp was instituted. The board voted to raise the entry fees at the ramp. In years past for a boater it was $75.00 for a boater now it’s $90.00, for a non boater they were $50.00 now they’re $60.00. This increase will allow more payouts to yo at the ramp.
The board also voted to change the % of payout, it was a 45% to KBF and 55% to you the fisherman at the ramp they voted to change it to 30% to KBF and 70% to the you. Keep in mind the 30% go to the state tournament
(Example: in 2024 with 10 boats 1st place $245, 2nd $165 and KBF $390.
Now in 2025 with 10 boats 1st $380, $270 and KBF $270). With this they voted to raise the entry at the State Tournament to $150.00 for boater and $100.00 for a non boater.
